It is crucial to be prepared when attempting to get commission(s) owed to you by Conversion House Media/Cliqly.  Have all documentation, deposits, debit/credit charges, Cliqly/CHM and ThriveCart history screenshots, etc. on hand when filing a case/claim. The authorities cannot help if all you have to give them is, “They have owed me commissions for over a year.”  They will need dates, correspondence, charges, etc.  However, if you have not paid the CHM fee, you may need to give an approximation of commission amounts along with an explanation of being locked out of Conversion House Media (CHM) due to not signing up for the monthly payment.  Sidenote: CHM cannot withhold payment because you did not sign up to pay the $19.77.  You have paid for your credits to send emails and have lawfully earned each click/commission for the .10 clicks or CPAs.  If you have participated in any extra programs (Unlimited .10 clicks, Double Up, Tier Jumper, Master Mind), have all those records on hand as well, including but not limited to any emails/Support tickets sent and/or any responses that may have been sent to you.  Here is where you begin to get your attempt to get your commissions.  Each step is crucial and need to be done in order to show you have done your due diligence.  Don’t skip steps because you’re angry (rightfully so).  Remain logical and pragmatic.  These agencies do not want a long story of why you need your commissions.  They just want facts.

  1. Send a Demand Letter (see sample letter) to both addresses provided. If you are in the United States, send your Demand Letters via Certified Mail. If you are outside the United States, send your Demand Letters via Registered Mail or Insured Mail.  It is necessary to send Demand Letters to both addresses and only the recipients listed. Save all receipts for charges incurred with sending these letters in case they are needed in the future.

You will need to take this step first.  Do not copy the Demand Letter samples word for word.  Make it your own, facts only.  NO EMOTIONAL RANTS.  They will not be admissible in court because it is “heresay” and not fact.  A time for that will come at the judgement phase, if your case gets that far. It shouldn’t get that far. Just be factual and to the point.

If a payment or a response is not received by CHM/Cliqly by your Demand Letter deadline, the next step is to contact the authorities.  (A) First, contact your local County Sheriff. They will most likely ask you if you have sent a letter for demand of payment.  Have those receipts ready so you can provide them with the information as to when those letters were sent. They will direct you to either an individual department, or a website to enter your report of a scam.  County Sheriff’s will forward your case via Teletype directly to the Harris County Texas Sheriff’s Office and they will then open a case for investigation.  They will keep you updated as to the progress of the case, or a number or email where you can also reach out to find out the status of the case. Again, it is crucial to have all your information in order to give an accurate account. (B) Contact the FBI via the website provided.  The directions are clear as to what information you need to provide.  You are reporting an internet scam company.  If you are outside the United States, check with your local authorities to see what their process is, and then also fill out the form on the FBI website www.ic3.gov. That can be done from anywhere in the world.

  1.  Once you have filed with both your local authorities and the FBI, you can try and contact your State Attorney General’s office.  They don’t usually have anything to do with this type of legal process.  However, some states may get involved, or at the very least direct you to what additional options for you would be.  Check with your local Attorney General’s office for that information..

Keep watch on this page for further instructions if the first two steps do not accomplish your goal of getting paid your commissions.  Instructions on what to do in case CHM/Cliqly file bankruptcy and how to be a payee in that bankruptcy will be coming soon.  It should not get to that point.
